So This Is Happening of the Day: As anticipated, Stephen Colbert will announce on tonight’s show that he is officially exploring a bid for President of the United States of America of South Carolina.

According to multiple sources, Colbert is forming an exploratory committee and handing over control of his SuperPAC to Jon Stewart, which would make his run exploration legal.

According to the Palmetto Public Record, Colbert’s announcement coincides with negotiations by his Super PAC for a “substantial media buy” in South Carolina.
